Equipment set up

This is where we make our animation. On the right is the mac with dragon frame opened up which is the software that we're using to make our animation. Each frame is taken by clicking the enter button on the mac. The mac is plugged up into the camera facing down on our work space where we're moving each frame to then put all together in premier…

Progress

16.06
I have now finished all of my planning and storyboards for my animation. I moved on to starting to create my animation with a set up in the classroom. From home i have brought the products that i used in my animation to then use in the time we have in lessons. It's taken me around three hours to complete 30 seconds of animation.
This is part of the animation in the making not edited or anything at the moment

25.06
We've now moved onto our second animation as we finished the first one by completing all the frames and editing it all together along with music on premier. We're now half way through the 2nd animation. These are some of the clips… We've now put all our finished clips on premier and edited them and also added appropriate music over the top.

After editing all the finished animations onto premier we moved on to our 3rd animation advert.

Stop Motion Practice

After planning what my animation will be like i decided to practice using the software and camera and set up to do a little short video of a babybel with the same style as what my animation will be. We opened the babybel and then ate it but all in 25 frames step by step and then changed the setting to 12 seconds per frame. This was our outcome…

Initial Planning

Form: I am going to create a advert. I was inspired by the idea of PES animations which show a series of different stop motion animation scenes. when doing research. It gave me the idea of advertising Rowntree sweets but in a more interesting way so that it appeals to my target audience.

Animation type: I've picked to do stop motion for my animation because i think with my idea as it's mainly targeted at younger children and the hand-made effect of the stop motion will appeal to them. The animation will be spilt up into 4 clips which are only 30 seconds long and this will also keep the younger children engaged because the clips are short and satisfying.

Selection of genre and style: The genre of my animation is abstract as it's going to be full of colours, patterns and sweets representing normal real life objects in a weird way.

Storyline: In my clips i'm going to create different stories and scenarios using all of the different types of rowntree sweets e.g. jelly tots, fruit pastels, randoms, random rip ems, pick & mix and tooth frooties. This way it advertises rowntree which is my aim and it's going to be made in a interesting way for people to be engaged.

1) The first one is going to be called "Making a fruit salad". In this clip we're going to use the sweets as fruit and animated chopping up the fruit and putting it in a bowl to then present out. In this clip i'll try and make the sweets look appealing in the fruit bowl with lots of colours and the colours of the sweets representing the fruits for example green fruit pastels for grapes.
2) The second clip is called "fireworks" in this clip we're going to use the packets of the sweets to represent the packets of the fireworks and then get the sweets to shoot out of the packets into a dark sky which will then make lots of different patterns.
3) The third clip is called "Coral of fish" i'm going to have a background of the ocean with green coloured sweets making seaweed flowing and then have three different coloured fish swim through all made out of sweets.
4) The last clip will be called "Rainbow of sweets" and every clip the rainbow will get bigger and bigger each line being a different coloured sweet and then at the end the rainbow is made up to then be put into a massive pot of gold to finish off the clip.
